These courses are part-funded by the MSLETB and delivered by North Mayo Heritage Centre Organic Garden staff. They are suitable for those with little or no gardening experience as well as established gardeners who want to learn more about the principles of organic growing.
Course 1 – This course is now full!
Course 2 will run from 10am to 2pm on Saturday 30th May and 6th, 13th & 20th June – 1 or 2 spaces still available
Participants will learn how to sow, plant and grow organic vegetables, fruit and herbs, and gain an understanding of the principles of organic growing, including soil care, weed and pest control.
The cost of tutor fees for the course is covered by MSLETB. A fee of €20 will be charged to each participant to cover additional costs.
