Stonemasonry Demonstration

Come and join us on 17th August at the start of National Heritage Week, when mayo stonemason Dominic Keogh will host a talk and walk on the history of stoneworking in Ireland.

This event will include a demonstration and display of the tools and techniques of traditional letter cutting and stone cutting, followed by a talk on the history of stone working in Ireland, from megalithic tombs through to the grand architecture of Enniscoe House and grounds
